Doc. RNDr. Pavel Nováček, PhD.He graduated in 1985 in the Palacky University, Olomouc (Czech Republic), Department of Nature Protection (1985). In 1994 obtained his Ph.D. degree in the biological sciences (Institute of Landscape Ecology Bratislava). In 2005, following the successful habilitation received the title of associate professor of environmental sciences (Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra).
In 1985-1990 he worked at the Institute of Experimental Biology and Ecology of Nitra, from r. 1990 is an employee of Palacky University in Olomouc - currently the Head of Department of Development Assistance, Faculty of Sciences. Externally, he worked at several universities in the Czech Republic and the USA.
Member of several international organizations. Research area - development assistance, sustainable development, strategic planning, futurology. Member of the Steering Committee of global forecasting the Millennium Project under the auspices of the United Nations University.
Author and co-author of number of books, scientific and technical studies and articles.
Cooperation with Regioplan since 1995 - issue of sustainable development, indicators of sustainable development, global environmental issues and landscape planning.
Prof. RNDr. Alfréd Trnka, PhD.He graduated in 1989 in the Faculty of Education, Comenius University Bratislava (1989). In 1996 obtained his PhD in Zoology, in r. 2003 scientific-pedagogical degree of associate professor, since 2009 - title of professor of zoology.
In 1989-96 worked as a zoologist in the West Museum in Trnava, since 1996 is the employee of the Faculty of Education University of Trnava - currently as a head of the Department of Biology. In his scientific and pedagogical activity specializes in vertebrate zoology (mainly ornithology) and ecology.
Author or co-author of 9 monographs and technical books, three textbooks and about 60 scientific articles. Cooperation with Regioplan since 2004 - area of cooperation is vertebrate zoology.
Prof. RNDr. Juraj Hreško, PhDHe graduated in 1981 in the Faculty of Sciences, Comenius University, Bratislava, Department of Physical Geography. In 1993 he received his PhD in Physical Geography. From 2000 associate Professor in the field of Special biology and ecology, in 2005 he obtained the title of Professor in Environmental Science.
Occupation: Institute of Landscape Ecology SAS (1988 - to date), Faculty of Science, University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra (since 1997). Since 2004 he is a head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences.
He has led or participated in numerous scientific domestic and foreign projects. In his scientific work is devoted to issues primarily abiotic components of the landscape, focusing on the geomorphology and geomorphological processes in the high mountains, but also global environmental problems, global ecology and natural resources issues.
He is the author or co-author of two monographs, 6 chapters in monographs, 5 university textbooks and teaching texts and about 60 scientific and technical articles.
Since r. 1995 he is an external cooperator for Regioplan company. Area of cooperation - geomorphology and geology.
Doc. RNDr. František Petrovič, PhD.He graduated in 2000 in the Faculty of Sciences, Comenius University, Bratislava, Department of Regional Geography, protection and planning. In 2005 received his PhD, in 2007 he is an associate professor. Since r. 2006 he worked in University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences.
Focus of work - socioeconomic characteristics of landscape, landscape-ecological planning and sustainable development, geographical information systems. Author and co-author of several books and numerous scientific and professional articles.
Since r. 2002 h is an external cooperator for Regioplan company. Area of cooperation - GIS, land use.
